A rally was held in Tokyo to recollect Masashi Sakurai, who handed away in August this 12 months after being acquitted in a retrial of the so-called “Fukawa Incident” that occurred in Ibaraki Prefecture 56 years in the past. The deceased and others appealed to hold on his will and to amend the legislation relating to retrials.
