Kuril Island [Russia], August 9 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck the Kuril Islands on Saturday night, as reported by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
Sharing the small print in a publish on X, the NCS stated that the earthquake occured at a depth of 10 kilometres at 19:33 hours Indian Standard Time (IST).

Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 6.7 jolted the Kuril Islands on Sunday, a press release by the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported.
