Daihatsu Motor has resumed manufacturing at its headquarters plant, which had been suspended on account of irregularities in certification testing. With this, all of Daihatsu’s home crops at the moment are operational.
Following the lifting of a suspension order by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, Daihatsu’s headquarters plant in Ikeda City, Osaka, resumed manufacturing of the sunshine car “Copen” on May 7, with staff reporting for work within the morning.
Daihatsu had suspended operations in any respect home crops in December on account of irregularities in car security certification testing. Since February, the corporate has step by step resumed manufacturing at its crops.
With the resumption of manufacturing on the headquarters plant, all home crops are operational for the primary time in about 4 and a half months.
Daihatsu commented, “We aim to craft each vehicle with care, ensuring quality, and deliver to our waiting customers as soon as possible.”
