British actor Tom Wilkinson, identified for 'The Full Monty' and 'Michael Clayton', dies at 75

Tom Wilkinson, the Oscar-nominated British actor identified for his roles in “The Full Monty,” “Michael Clayton” and “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” has died, his household stated. He was 75.

An announcement shared by his agent on behalf of the household stated Wilkinson died abruptly at house on Saturday. It did not present additional particulars.

Wilkinson was nominated for a greatest actor Academy Award for his work in 2001’s household drama “In The Bedroom” in 2001 and in the most effective supporting actor class for his position in “Michael Clayton,” a 2007 movie that starred George Clooney.

He is remembered by many in Britain and past for enjoying former metal mill foreman Gerald Cooper within the 1997 comedy “The Full Monty,” a few group of unemployed metal employees who fashioned an unlikely male stripping act.

Wilkinson appeared in dozens of different films, together with “Batman Begins,” “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “Valkyrie.”
