AICHI (TR) – Aichi Prefectural Police have arrested an officer over the alleged rape of a lady he met on-line, stories NHK (April 14).
On April 3, Yo Inoue, a 28-year-old head patrol officer, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the lady, aged in her 20s, inside his car whereas it was parked in a parking construction in Nagoya City.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of forcible sexual activity on Friday, Inoue admitted to the allegations, police mentioned.
According to police, Inoue, who had met the lady by way of social media, was off-duty on the day of the incident. He is believed to have threatened her beforehand.
“It was an act unbecoming of a police officer, and I deeply apologize,” mentioned chief inspector Takashi Kawaguchi. “We will take strict measures [to prevent a recurrence].”
