A brand new meals and beverage supply service, managed by synthetic intelligence (AI) robots, is about to launch in elements of Tokyo ranging from Wednesday.
The robots are geared up with seven cameras and may journey at a pace of roughly 5 kilometers per hour. They use AI to research video footage, navigate round individuals, and cease at visitors indicators whereas carrying insulated containers with meals.
This service is a collaborative effort between Uber Eats, Mitsubishi Electric, and an American firm. They have ensured security by organising distant monitoring and an accident reporting system.
The service will start within the Nihonbashi space of Tokyo on March sixth, with plans to increase to areas with a scarcity of supply personnel sooner or later.
