A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of hugging and making an attempt to kiss a feminine flight attendant on an All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight, claiming he was too intoxicated to recollect the incident, in accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

Naoki Tada, an organization worker, is accused of hugging and making an attempt to kiss a feminine flight attendant for 10 minutes aboard an ANA flight from Thailand to Haneda Airport in 2023.

Tada was reportedly intoxicated on the flight, yelling and making an attempt to hit different passengers, resulting in his seat being moved. He allegedly tried lewd acts in the direction of a number of flight attendants who tried to cease him.

During police questioning, Tada acknowledged, “I don’t remember because I was drunk.”
