The world’s main semiconductor producer TSMC headquartered in Taiwan has indicated a coverage to construct a second manufacturing facility in Japan’s Kumamoto prefecture, TV Asahi experiences.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) held a common assembly of shareholders on June 6 and introduced at a subsequent press convention that it could construct a second manufacturing facility in Kumamoto Prefecture on the island of Kyūshū.
Construction of Japan’s first TSMC manufacturing facility is at present underway in Kikuyo Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, with completion set for September and shipments by December subsequent 12 months.
The second manufacturing facility is deliberate to be constructed close to the manufacturing facility at present underneath building, and the corporate is coordinating with the Japanese authorities to accumulate land.
