OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested a 79-year-old building employee for allegedly murdering a colleague with a reproduction sword over an ongoing dispute at their firm dormitory, studies Fuji News Network (Aug. 3).
At round 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Takashi Ito walked into a neighborhood police station and instructed officers, “I might have killed someone.” He was subsequently taken into custody in an emergency arrest on suspicion of homicide.
According to police, Ito attacked 52-year-old Kazuhiko Onimaru inside the worker dormitory the place they each lived in Osakasayama City. Officers arriving on the scene discovered Onimaru collapsed and bleeding closely from stab wounds to his neck. He was later confirmed useless.
During police questioning, Ito admitted to the deadly stabbing, citing a grudge over the sufferer’s demeanor.
“His everyday attitude and behavior were bad, so I went to complain to him,” Ito instructed investigators. “I lost my temper, grabbed a replica sword, and went to stab him.”
