New Delhi [India], July 12 (ANI): The Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation will convene the All-India Conference of Senior Most Secretaries of Water Resources Departments of States and Union Territories tomorrow.
Union Minister of Jal Shakti CR Patil, will chair the convention.
The convention goals to strengthen Centre-State coordination on precedence initiatives within the Water Resources Sector and evaluation the progress of main nationwide programmes of the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
The Conference will witness the participation of senior officers from the Water Resources Departments of all States and Union Territories in addition to the Ministry of Jal Shakti, together with its organizations, connected and subordinate places of work such because the Central Water Commission (CWC), National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA), National Water Mission (NWM) amongst others.
