SAITAMA (TR) — Police in Koshigaya City have arrested a 42-year-old unemployed girl for allegedly obstructing police duties after she made a bogus emergency name claiming she had been slashed with a knife, stories the Saitama Shimbun (May 14).
At round 1:19 p.m. on Tuesday, the suspect, a resident of the town’s Shimomakuri space, known as emergency companies and falsely reported, “My friend cut my stomach with a knife.”
The fireplace division instantly forwarded the decision to the police, who scrambled officers and initiated an emergency deployment to seek out the assailant.
An enormous police response ensued over the following hour. However, when responding officers rushed to the scene, they discovered the lady utterly unhurt. Realizing the report was completely fabricated, police took her into custody for fraudulent obstruction of enterprise.
Upon her arrest, the suspect denied the allegations. “I just reported it as a victim,” she instructed investigators.
The Koshigaya Police Station is at present investigating the motive behind the hoax.
