FUKUOKA (TR) – In an effort to assist the rehabilitation of members of yakuza syndicates, the Fukuoka Prefectural authorities has created an academic video that exhibits the journey from leaving a company to reintegrating again into society, stories Kyodo News (Feb. 17).
The video by the Fukuoka Prefectural Center for Removal of Criminal Organizations has begun distribution on social networking websites resembling YouTube.
A shortened model may even be aired in roughly 130 pachinko parlors throughout the prefecture in March. Similar movies have been produced prior to now. The new video consists of two components.
One of them is about leaving a prison syndicate. In it, a male gang member who’s on the run from the police remembers his days as a highschool pupil and resolves to “start over.”
The second section is about working a traditional job. A person who has damaged away from his yakuza gang expresses pleasure in his skill to purchase toys for his youngsters with the cash he earns from working.
A consultant of the middle urges, “We hope that the video will inspire people to take the first step of consulting the center or the prefectural police.”
