Gaur has been arrested on November 13, 2025 and cost sheeted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an alleged cash laundering case of greater than Rs 13,000 crores.

Earlier, on May 23, 2025, the ED had carried out search operations at 15 areas in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Mumbai, together with the places of work and premises of M/s Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. and M/s Jaypee Infratech Ltd.
