A 21-year-old Aurora man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after police say he attacked a girl strolling on the High Line Canal Trail in Expo Park in May.
Jack Khaidav was arrested Tuesday evening after detectives acquired a group tip by way of Metro Denver Crime Stoppers concerning the case, the Aurora Police Department mentioned in a news launch.
The assault occurred the morning of May 8, when a girl advised police she was attacked from behind by an unknown man and managed to struggle him off and warn different ladies within the space.
Detectives obtained surveillance video of the person leaving the scene, and a group member lately submitted a tip that it was Khaidav, division officers mentioned.
Khaidav is being held on the Arapahoe County Jail with out bail. He is ready to seem in courtroom Tuesday for a submitting of costs listening to, in line with courtroom data.
