Guardrails put in alongside the roads close to Okubo Park in Shinjuku, Tokyo, are set to be eliminated as avenue solicitation, generally referred to as “tachinbo,” has develop into a social challenge within the space.

In the Okubo Park space, many ladies have been seen leaning towards the guardrails whereas ready for patrons, contributing to the rising social concern over prostitution-related actions.
According to investigative sources, Shinjuku Ward plans to take away the guardrails throughout the month as a site visitors security measure and exchange them with metallic poles. The transfer goals to make it simpler for pedestrians to transition between the sidewalk and the roadway.
