In a case wherein Maritoshi Akimoto, a member of the House of Representatives, obtained about 30 million yen from a wind energy technology firm over an offshore wind energy technology undertaking, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office’s Special Investigation Department voluntarily interviewed Akimoto. I obtained it from the interview. The Special Investigation Department is believed to have requested for a proof concerning the movement and goal of the obtained funds.
