TOKYO, July 23 (Xinhua) — Three people had been injured on Sunday throughout a stabbing incident on a prepare in Japan’s western prefecture of Osaka, in accordance with native authorities.
Local police rapidly arrested the male perpetrator on the spot on suspicion of tried homicide, who later confessed to the stabbing.
According to the police, the stabbing was reported by a workers member at Rinku-Town Station at round 10:25 a.m. native time. It is believed that the assault occurred whereas the prepare was in movement.
The injured had been a male passenger in his 20s, one other in his 70s, and a male prepare conductor in his 20s.
All three had been taken to the hospital, their accidents not life-threatening, in accordance with authorities.
Kazuya Shimizu, the 37-year-old perpetrator, was discovered carrying three knives when taken into custody on the station platform.
