TOKYO, June 14 (Xinhua) — Two Ground Self-Defense Forces (GSDF) members died and one different was injured on Wednesday after being shot by one other member with a rifle at a GSDF capturing vary in central Japan, public broadcaster NHK reported.
The incident occurred at round 9 a.m. native time (0000 GMT) on the GSDF facility within the central Japanese prefecture of Gifu, NHK reported, citing investigators.
The male 18-year-old GSDF member who fired the rifle was arrested on the web site for alleged tried homicide, it mentioned.
The victims included a person in his 50s and two of their 20s, and there have been no stories of civilian casualties, it added.
