2 Chinese nabbed stealing tons of of Yamanashi peaches

TOKYO, Sep 14 (News On Japan) –
Two Chinese males have been arrested on suspicion of stealing 350 peaches in Yamanashi Prefecture, central Japan, as a collection of peach thefts grips the realm.

The suspects, recognized as Mr. Ryu Ichuan (age 28) and Mr. Ryu Jienchan (age 37), each of Chinese nationality residing in Ishiwa-cho, Fuefuki City, have been apprehended.

According to police, the 2 people are suspected of stealing round 350 peaches from a peach orchard in Fuefuki City in late June, amounting to roughly 100,000 yen in worth.

The peaches have been present in a number of procuring baskets and had been left within the orchard.

Both suspects have been beforehand arrested final month on fees associated to unlawful immigration.

The police haven’t disclosed whether or not the suspects have admitted to the allegations.

A spate of peach thefts has occurred within the metropolis from June to July, and authorities are investigating these incidents additional.
