OSAKA (TR) – Two 16-year-old women have been referred to prosecutors for allegedly ingesting tea straight from a pitcher at an outlet of beef bowl chain Sukiya in Osaka City earlier this yr, stories NHK (May 15).
On February 1, the ladies allegedly touched their mouths to the shared pitcher as they drink tea collectively within the outlet in Chuo Ward.
Police allege that the truth that a workers member was then pressured to clean the pitcher the outlet’s enterprise was disrupted.
The department filed a grievance with the Minami Police Station after a video of them ingesting tea was unfold on social media. They have been referred to prosecutors on suspicion of forcible obstruction of enterprise on Tuesday.
Police haven’t revealed whether or not the ladies admit to the allegations.
Sukiya commented, “We cannot tolerate any behavior that causes harm to customers who are enjoying a safe and enjoyable meal. We will continue to take strict action against such nuisance behavior.”
